TrackAI's monthly in-app purchase is $6.90. Mealyno Premium is $24.99 a month. Mealyno Essential is $8.99 a month in dollars and 269 ₴ in Ukraine, so for photo scanning alone the two are close. Prices on each side are shown as published, and we did not convert between currencies.

What users report about TrackAI
We read the 60 most recent App Store Ukraine reviews on 1 Oct 2026, dated from 31 May 2025 to 2 Sep 2026. 23 of them gave 1 or 2 stars and 15 gave 5 stars. This is a small sample of one store, so read it as a set of examples and not as a rating.
Praise: speed and ease
Users report in App Store reviews that logging from a photo is quick and easy to use. This is the main theme in the 5-star reviews.

Free versus paid
The most common theme in the low ratings, about 10 reviews, is that an ad or the app presented it as free while photo scanning needs a paid subscription after the 3-day trial. Some reviewers say they were charged after cancelling or could not find how to cancel.

Photo estimates
One reviewer says 100 g of cottage cheese and a banana came out at 520 kcal by photo and at 223 kcal when entered manually. Any photo tool, ours included, gives estimates, so check the result before you save it.

Missing features
A May 2026 review says the app does not search by barcode and that many products are missing. Other reviews ask for water, steps and Apple Health. One user over 150 kg reports that the weight field stopped at 150 kg.

Where Mealyno fits better
A free start that does not need a card

Plans, shopping lists and diets
Mealyno writes 1, 3 or 7 day plans from calorie and protein targets, a diet type and foods to avoid, then builds the shopping list. TrackAI's store page lists personalised plans, and we did not find a plan generator or shopping list on its site.

A barcode lookup and a label fallback
Packaged food is found by barcode at no cost. When the code is missing, a photo of the pack lets the AI read the nutrition table as printed.

- You like a mascot and closing rings to keep a habit going.
- You mainly want photo logging on a phone and are fine with a subscription after a 3-day trial.
- You want an interface in one of 15 languages.
Pick Mealyno if
- You want to try photo scanning and barcode lookups before you pay anything.

- You prefer to pay in hryvnias on the web instead of through a store.
What we did not verify
These points are left out of the table because the public pages did not confirm them.
- TrackAI prices outside the Ukrainian App Store: we read only the Ukraine price list, and no other store.
- How accurate TrackAI's photo estimates are: neither company shares a tested figure we can cite, and Mealyno makes no accuracy percentage claim.
- TrackAI features inside the logged-in app that are not on its site or store page, such as barcode, water or plans.
- Whether TrackAI has a browser version: we found none, but we did not search beyond its site.
Questions
- Is TrackAI free?
- Its own FAQ says no. It is a monthly or yearly subscription, and each new user gets a 3-day free trial. Some App Store reviewers say they expected a free app. Mealyno has a free account with 3 photo scans and a free web photo tool with 1 scan a day.
- Which is cheaper in Ukraine?
- It depends on the plan. TrackAI lists $6.90 a month and $33.90 a year on App Store Ukraine. Mealyno Essential is 269 ₴ a month and 1 290 ₴ a year, and Premium is 829 ₴ and 3 990 ₴. We show the published prices and do not convert them, so check the current exchange rate yourself.
- Can I switch from TrackAI to Mealyno?
- Yes, there is nothing to migrate that we know of. Open Mealyno in a browser, create a free account and start logging. Cancel the TrackAI subscription in your store account first if you pay for it, because deleting an app does not stop a store subscription.
- Does Mealyno have an app?
- Not yet. Mealyno runs in the browser on phone and computer. iOS and Android apps are in development and are not in the App Store or Google Play today.
- Does Mealyno scan photos like TrackAI?
- Yes. A photo scan lists each ingredient with grams, a confidence score, and lets you edit every item. Essential and Premium have unlimited scans, and the free tier has 3.
- Does either app sync with Apple Health?
- Not today. TrackAI's FAQ says it is working on it, and Mealyno plans it for its mobile apps.
