How these guides are built
Calorie, protein and portion numbers in the household guides are calculated by the same functions the Mealyno app runs, and food values come from USDA FoodData Central. Where we cite a guideline, the source is listed at the bottom of the page with the date it was checked.
The guides are general nutrition information. They are not medical advice and they do not diagnose or treat anything. For allergies, celiac disease, children, pregnancy or any medical condition, ask a doctor or a registered dietitian.
General information, not medical advice. Ask your doctor or a registered dietitian what is right for you.
